In the world of cheap Bentley models listed for sale on Autotrader, this one stands out from the rest for one very important reason: It's traveled an enormous number of miles. This 2006 Bentley Continental GT is offered by a private seller near Detroit, and it's done just under 137,000 miles since new. This is unusual.

In fact, it's more than unusual. Virtually everyone who buys a Bentley -- even a used one -- treats it as a special car; a vehicle for certain occasions; a car that's not to be driven in bad weather, or eaten in, or parked on the street. Well, not this car: The current owner has driven it just under 18,000 miles a year -- and prior owners weren't far behind.

To start, a little overview: This is a 2006 Continental GT with a 550-horsepower turbocharged W12; the original sticker price was probably in the neighborhood of $185,000. According to the Carfax report, the first owner lived near Los Angeles and drove it a lot, adding 48,000 miles in the first four years. Things accelerated from there; the second owner, also near Los Angeles, had it another four years and drove it an additional 24,000 miles, bringing the total to 71,900.

Then the current owner came into the picture.

The current owner is a hero: They owner bought an 8-year-old used Bentley with 72,000 miles and preceded to use it as a daily driver in Michigan. In fact, the car appears to be wearing snow tires in the Autotrader ad pictures. The current owner has averaged roughly 18,000 miles a year for the last three and a half years, bringing the total to today's 137,000 miles.

And so, this is now one of the cheapest Bentley Continental GT models for sale on Autotrader, and also the highest-mileage example I've ever seen. Who wants to be the one to take it to 150,000?
