This is one of the highest-mileage Porsche models listed on Autotrader. It’s a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S, and it’s covered an amazing 270,000 miles since new — and now it’s listed by a private seller in Orange County, California, for $15,000, making it a lot of car for the money. Assuming, of course, you don’t mind the mileage.
A little background: Although the Porsche Cayenne Turbo debuted as the same time as the regular Cayenne S back in 2003, the Turbo S model didn’t come out until a few years later. The regular Cayenne Turbo started with 450 horsepower in 2003, but the Turbo S upped that to 550, sending it 0-to-60 in 4.7 seconds and making it the fastest SUV in production when it was on sale.
The driver of this Cayenne Turbo S apparently really wanted to enjoy the fastest production SUV — so that’s exactly what happened. The ad states the current owner purchased this Cayenne Turbo from a bank repossession auction in 2008, and drove the car (a lot, clearly) ever since. The Carfax report shows driving of just under 25,000 miles a year, on average, since 2009 — a lot of driving in a pricey luxury European performance SUV with a big engine.
If you’re interested in this Cayenne, it’s in Anaheim, California, and it looks to be in surprisingly nice condition, with few (if any) exterior blemishes and an unusually well-preserved interior, given the mileage. Find a used Porsche Cayenne for sale
