Here’s a bit of a surprise. While most limousine models that end up on Autotrader are older Lincolns and Cadillacs that have spent their entire lives in limo service, this particular limo is completely different: it’s a stretched version of the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and it’s basically brand new.
Offered by Bentley Bugatti Lamborghini of Chicago, this is a 2016 Mercedes-Benz S550 that’s been given a small stretch — not to the point where it’s a huge stretch limo, but enough to get an extra, rear-facing seat in the back. It’s a subtle stretch, but it’s also just enough to remind everyone else that you’re wealthier than the average S-Class owner.
Interestingly, the pricing is not insane, considering how much this stretch must’ve cost originally. Bentley Bugatti Lamborghini of Chicago is only asking $87,700 for this S550, which has just under 8,000 miles on it. That speaks to the general lack of interest in used limos, which typically depreciate quickly after the first owner moves on.
Still, this is a nice limo, and it would be an excellent vehicle for you to be driven around in — reminding everyone that you don’t need to lower yourself to the menial task of driving, like so many other S-Class owners. If you’re interested, this S550 Limo has a gray exterior with a porcelain interior, and the ad confirms it is indeed a one-owner vehicle. Find a Mercedes-Benz S550 for sale
