A brand-new, fully redesigned Rolls-Royce Phantom recently debuted for the 2018 model year, and it’s exactly what you’d expect: a gorgeous vehicle with a beautiful interior and massive proportions. It’s also wildly expensive, as this one proves.
This is a 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase, which is Rolls-Royce’s term to describe the long-wheelbase model with additional seat room for drivers interested in a chauffeur. It’s finished in white with a dark blue interior, and it’s listed for sale for $613,250. Think about that for a second: This vehicle has a sticker price of $613,250.
It’s offered by Desert European Motorcars near Palm Springs, California, which is a well-known high-end and exotic car dealership, and it’s the most expensive Phantom in the country — by a long shot. Of course, it’s also gorgeously well equipped with beautiful white interior panels, and wood trim, and undoubtedly some of the most opulent features in the entire car industry.
Too bad we’ll never get to experience it, however: The $600,000-plus price tag is a bit prohibitive, and so is the fuel economy from the 6.75-liter V12, which makes 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque — far more than the "adequate" engine numbers Rolls-Royce used to advertise. Indeed, no part of this car is simply adequate, and that’s the entire point. Find a Rolls-Royce Phantom for sale
