The Bugatti Veyron is known by every car enthusiast — and many non-car enthusiasts — to be a technological marvel and one of the fastest cars ever made. It’s also known for its incredible servicing and ownership costs, with stories of $40,000 tire changes and much more. As a result, most Veyron owners drive their cars sparingly — but not this one.
What you see here is a bright red 2006 Bugatti Veyron that’s traveled 27,000 miles from new. That may not seem like much for a 13-year-old car, but truthfully, it’s an astounding figure. Virtually every Veyron that gets listed for sale on Autotrader has 1,000 to 5,000 miles, and 5,000 is usually pushing it. Most have been saved and reserved for rare special occasions and driven sparingly.
That’s not the case for this vehicle. According to the Carfax report, it spent most of its life — and most of its miles — in the Los Angeles area, as the first owner had it there through 2016 and 19,000 miles. It then moved back and forth between California and Arizona with more owners, though some may have been dealers that had possession of the car for a short time.
Although the Veyron presents as bright red, the ad notes that it’s actually black and blue with a bright red wrap covering the factory colors. The interior is beige and shows surprisingly little wear, considering the mileage. In fact, this Veyron in general looks like a handsome, well-kept example, and I shudder to imagine what maintenance costs must have been over the last decade.
If you’re interested, this Veyron is offered by Luxury Auto Collection in the Phoenix area for $900,000 — cheap for a Veyron, but you know, quite a bit for an automobile. Still, it’s a special vehicle, even after all these years — and all those miles. Find a Bugatti Veyron for sale
