If you've ever longed for a modern version of the Chevy El Camino, well ... now you can have it -- because this 2006 Dodge Magnum has been converted from its initial station-wagon body style into a pickup truck, dubbed the "Magnumino." Get it?

And, in fact, this is better than some regular ol' convert-your-Magnum-into-a-pickup thing that anybody could do in their backyard with a wrench and a little free time on a Sunday afternoon. That's because this Magnum is a high-performance SRT-8 model -- meaning this Magnum doesn't just have a pickup bed, but also 425 horsepower.

That's right: You're looking at a 425-hp modern-day El Camino.

And, interestingly, it's a pretty professional one. Offered by Luxury Cars of Charleston in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, the Magnumino looks almost like it came this way from the factory: It has a wood-lined bed and a surprisingly professional-looking tailgate and insert between the cabin and the bed. It also remains original in virtually every aspect aside from its pickup conversion, which only strengthens the factory look. It also has a clean Carfax report, suggesting the conversion wasn't the result of a rollover accident or some other smash-up.

But then we get to the downside: The Magnumino is offered with just under 71,000 miles for $49,998, which is a pretty penny for a wagon-turned-truck. While there's no doubt a lot of work went into creating this car, the average price for a non-pickupized Magnum SRT-8 on Autotrader is $17,700 -- so you have to really want the truck version.

Thanks to Justin for sending this one over!
