If you want to take your life on the road and leave your responsibilities behind, this Sprinter is the car for you: It's been modified for serious travel, and it's currently listed on Autotrader. Unfortunately, it comes with a bit of responsibility of its own: A $125,000 asking price. How exactly does a Sprinter get to $125,000? Let's dive in a little deeper.

To start, this isn't just any Sprinter: it's a massive, four-wheel-drive model that the seller has listed as a "Sprinter 170." Now, I personally don't spend a lot of time tracking the Sprinter market, so I'm not sure what that is, but I can tell you it's absolutely massive: For instance, it appears to have, in back, a tray where you can pull out bikes -- and even when they're in the tray, there's an enormous amount of room above them, inside the Sprinter, for additional cargo.

So we know this Sprinter is massive, and we also know it's loaded: The owner says it sleeps four comfortably, and also notes that it includes two individual queen beds. There are also auxiliary batteries powered by solar panels, there are stainless steel countertops, there's a 24-in flatscreen TV with a DVD player and four wireless headsets, there's a 15-gallon fresh water tank, and there's a 10-gallon propane tank. You could literally live in this vehicle. It is literally a house.

And it could be your house, because it's being offered for sale by a private seller in Kingsport, Tennessee -- in the Smoky Mountains -- with just over 17,000 miles on the odometer, for that aforementioned $125,000. The seller says the build cost around $140,000, meaning the $125,000 is sort of a steal and, of course, the build includes a lot of things I haven't mentioned here. So if you want to go off the grid with four of your friends, well ... here's your chance.
