As you know, it’s my job to go through the Autotrader listings, find weird stuff for sale, and share that weird stuff with you. I do this often. Last week, I showed you a bizarrely lifted Toyota 4Runner and a 6-speed manual Ferrari 575M Superamerica. Sometimes, I wonder if I’ll run out of interesting cars to show you — and then I find something like this. See the Jeep Wrangler models for sale near you
What you see here is a Jeep Wrangler that has been converted into a 6-wheel-drive pickup truck. I am not exaggerating this, as you can see for yourself. Whoever made this vehicle took a standard Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, gave it a pickup-truck bed, and gave it six wheels (and, presumably, 6-wheel drive). Oh, and it also has a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which presumably is a crate engine and therefore makes 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This may sound like overkill, but remember a 6-wheel-drive Jeep Wrangler is a bit heavier than a normal one.
If you’re interested in this vehicle — and how could you possibly not be? — I’m happy to report it’s currently offered for sale by Motorcars of Georgia, which is the franchise Lamborghini, Lotus and Aston Martin dealership in the Atlanta area. Unsurprisingly, this Wrangler has covered just 310 miles since new, presumably because it’s massive and because you have to deal with throngs of annoying onlookers every single time you drive it. And now those annoying onlookers can be your annoying onlookers.
The only problem with this vehicle that I can see is its price: Motorcars of Georgia has it priced at $284,800, which is a lot of money for a Jeep, even one with six wheels. Now, to be clear, I don’t think Motorcars of Georgia is asking a ridiculous number for this vehicle; the conversion looks highly professional and, when you think about it, a G 63 6×6 is worth $1 million, so this is a bargain. When I’m calling the price a "problem," what I really mean is it’s a problem I can’t afford it.
And neither, I suspect, can you. So we must gawk at the 6-wheeled Wrangler in awe from behind our desks. Find a Jeep Wrangler for sale
