If a standard, run-of-the-mill Hummer H1 is just too bland and low-key of an SUV for you, we’ve found one for sale on Autotrader that takes the craziest version of the H1 and goes several steps further to make it even crazier. It’s a 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha for sale at Ultimate Auto Boutique in Orlando, Fla. with about 22K miles on the clock for $449,000. This Hummer has been heavily modified to make it truly one of a kind.
For starters, what does Alpha mean? The H1 Alpha was a version of the original Hummer that was upgraded in many ways as the swan song of the H1 for its final model year of 2006. It was powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel mated to an Alison 5-speed transmission shared with the Chevy Kodiak medium-duty commercial truck. In the Hummer, this engine is rated at 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. The Alpha has a ton of upgrades over the regular H1 on top of just the engine and transmission like a different interior, a 2-in lift, different exhaust, special high-strength steel in the frame and much more.
So an H1 Alpha in good condition is already a pretty good SUV find, but the one you see here has modifications on top of all of that to make it even more unique. Let’s start with the exterior. The front and rear bumpers, skid plates and roof rack are all custom which are different enough from stock to make it look custom, but it still looks very Hummer-y. It has enormous 28-in Grid wheels wrapped with Fury M/T tires. There are also electronic running boards with courtesy lighting, which certainly helps make it a little easier to board this very tall SUV made even taller by a 6-in suspension system.
Things get even crazier on the inside. There’s a custom leather and suede interior that goes all the way up to the headliner. There’s an audio system befitting of the truck’s ridiculousness with an Alpine head unit, JL Audio speakers all around, five amplifiers and three subwoofers mounted in the ceiling.
This Hummer H1 Alpha may not be a very practical family vehicle and it might just be too expensive to want to take it off-road, but it’s certain to turn heads wherever it goes. Find a Hummer H1 for sale

Whoever invented low profile off road tires is either the worst person or the best troll ever. No one with two brain cells would take those off road, but it’s hilarious when someone does.
