If you’re looking for a new family vehicle but you can’t stomach the idea of a car that everyone else has, here’s your chance to get something unusual. It’s a 2002 Isuzu Axiom, and it’s in great shape — which is rare for an Axiom. In fact, an Axiom in general is pretty rare, which is why this is a neat vehicle.
Here’s the backstory: The Axiom was offered from 2002 to 2004, and, oddly enough, it was sold only in the United States and Costa Rica. It was an impressive vehicle in its day, as it used a 250-hp V6 engine while most rivals didn’t have anywhere near that much power. It also had decent technology for the money.
Unfortunately, sales were meager, as the Axiom came at the very end of Isuzu‘s run as an automaker in the United States — so very few people actually purchased an Axiom. As a result, it’s hard to find a nice one — but that’s exactly what this is. This 2002 Axiom has traveled 58,000 miles from new, and it’s finished in a goldish-silver with a brown interior. This is one of the only Axiom models on Autotrader, and it’s certainly the nicest.
Indeed, this is the kind of vehicle that will make people wonder what exactly you have. And it’s cheap: You can buy this well-kept Axiom from Carco Sales and Finance in Chula Vista, California, for just $6,250. Find an Isuzu Axiom for sale
