Here’s a cool Autotrader Find: a 1990 GMC Sierra that’s traveled just 32,000 miles since new. Not only that, it’s just as perfect as you’d expect a 32,000-mile vehicle to be, having clearly been subject to very little of the traditional pickup-truck life.
To start, this truck is offered by Unity Motors in Jenison, Michigan, where it’s currently listed for $16,900. At first glance, that seems like big money for a 1990 pickup truck — but then you start diving into everything, and you realize what a gem this is.
For instance: According to the ad, this truck is a one-owner vehicle — or, at least, a "one-family-owner" vehicle, having been with one family since it was originally purchased new. The Carfax report shows several ownership changes, but all have kept the mileage low and kept the truck in roughly the same area, backing up the claim that it’s been owned by one family.
The ad also notes that the truck has no rust — a big deal for Michigan — and further documents the condition of the pickup in 19 photos, all of which make it look flawless. It still has the original wheels, which appear undamaged; the interior (red seats with red carpeting) looks like you’d expect the day it was sold new nearly 30 years ago. It is, truly, a time capsule — and given how much most pickup trucks are used, there aren’t many time capsules like this left. So if you’ve ever wanted to buy an old GMC pickup to preserve, here’s your chance. Find a GMC Sierra for sale
