Here’s a 2006 GMC Yukon XL Denali currently listed for sale at Redefined Auto Sales in the Chicago suburbs. It’s a fairly standard Yukon Denali in most ways: It still has the stock wheels, the interior is unmodified, it’s covered 150,000 miles and it’s listed for a reasonable $7,999. It’s a totally normal vehicle in every way, except … it’s pink.
Bright pink. And it doesn’t appear to be a wrap. This is just one giant pink vehicle, pink on every single exterior panel from the front to the back. It’s just pink.
Obviously, the Yukon Denali was never offered in pink, so this particular example was repainted at some point. That’s not all that uncommon — but to me, this one is a bit weirder than normal, because nothing else was touched. Someone wanted a pink Yukon Denali badly enough that they had the entire car painted — but they didn’t change the wheels, the interior or anything else that usually goes along with such an update. It’s a bit mystifying.
It won’t surprise you to note that the pink Yukon Denali spent its entire life in Florida, though it’s worth noting the Carfax report says it was registered with the DMV as white, not pink. The Carfax report also shows a repossession in early 2017 from the fourth owner, followed by appearances at auto auctions in Indiana and Texas. What happens to this Yukon Denali next is anyone’s guess. Find a used GMC Yukon XL for sale
