You're looking at a 1987 Ford Bronco II with just 41,000 miles -- surely one of the nicest, best-preserved, lowest-mileage Ford Bronco II examples in existence. It's currently offered by Dunn Benson Ford in Dunn, North Carolina, south of Raleigh, and it's a reminder of how this thing looked when it came off the factory floor back in the 1980s.

Before I get into the specifics of this Bronco, a little background. The Bronco II was from 1984 to 1990, and, oddly, it wasn't a replacement for the "full-size" Bronco. In fact, the larger Bronco was sold continuously from 1966 to 1996, meaning the Bronco II was sold alongside the regular, full-size Bronco throughout the 1980s. Though this may sound odd, Chevrolet did the exact same thing, selling a "full-size" Blazer and a smaller S-10 Blazer at the same time throughout the 1980s.

The Bronco II was based on the smaller Ford Ranger pickup, and it offered smaller engines than the full-size model. While the full-size Bronco primarily used V8 power throughout the 1980s (along with a base-level 6-cylinder), the Bronco II only offered a V6 -- though a turbodiesel 4-cylinder was also briefly available, solely for the 1986 model year. Eventually, the Bronco II was replaced by the Explorer, while the full-size Bronco died in the mid-1990s.

But back to this one. This particular Bronco II uses the model's 2.9-liter V6 and shows just 41,000 miles, which the Carfax report seems to support. The report shows it was sold new in August 1987 in North Carolina, and it's added very few miles since 2013, though it still visits Dunn Benson Ford for regular services and safety inspections. The Bronco's condition also seems to support its mileage, with only light wear on the driver's seat and an otherwise clean and relatively untouched interior and exterior.

If you're interested, this Bronco II is available for $14,899 -- big money for a Bronco, but not bad considering it's probably the nicest one left.
