Autotrader Find: Right-Hand Drive 6-Wheeled Jeep Wrangler

Here’s something you won’t see again. A quick glance at this 2016 Jeep Wrangler, and you’ll get most of the idea why it’s so weird: Because it has six wheels. This 2016 Wrangler was converted from a standard Wrangler Unlimited into a 6-wheeled Wrangler pickup, which is quite an undertaking — and which is why the asking price is an impressive $222,000. It may be expensive, but it’s a bargain compared to paying over $1 million for a Mercedes AMG G63 6×6.

But, oddly, the 6-wheel drive part isn’t the only unusual thing about this Jeep Wrangler. While several companies are making 6-wheel drive Wrangler pickup conversions, I’ve never before seen one that’s right-hand drive. Yes, that’s right: This is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler "postal" model, which is manufactured in right-hand drive configuration so rural mail carriers can easily reach mailboxes, except it’s been converted to a 6-wheel drive pickup.

In essence, this is just about the most unique Wrangler you’ll ever see — a 6-wheel drive pickup version where the driver is sitting on the wrong side of the car. It’s offered by Exotic Custom Motorsports, a custom shop in Southern California’s Huntington Beach, and it’s listed with just 32 miles, meaning the conversion was likely carried out and then the Wrangler was placed for sale.

Yes, at $222,000, it’s expensive, but the Wrangler has become rather popular these days. Here’s your opportunity to really stand out.
