Here Are the Coolest Older Audi Models for Sale on Autotrader

If you’re in the market for a cool older Audi, you probably know that it isn’t always especially easy to find one — especially compared to older BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, which have a longer history, especially in the American market. But there are some cool older Audi models out there, and these are proof. Here are five cool older Audi models currently listed for sale on Autotrader, all of which are desirable, cool, and hard to find in nice shape.

1987 Audi 5000

1987 Audi 5000 – $6,500

Although it’s hard to find nice Audi models from the 1990s, it’s especially challenging to find nice Audi models from the 1980s — but this is exactly that. This is a 1987 Audi 5000, and it’s currently listed for sale by a private seller in Malibu, California. Finished in gray with a gray cloth interior, it’s traveled just 65,000 miles from new, and it’s likely one of the nicest Audi 5000 models still left on the market. It’s offered for $6,500. 2000 Audi A8

2000 Audi A8 – $5,988

The original Audi A8, sold from 1997 to 2002, is a largely unremembered vehicle — simply because it was such a rare car, compared to more established rivals like the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. But it had a nice presence, and you can still find them occasionally today — and this one is in reasonably nice shape, with 122,000 miles and a silver exterior with a beige interior. It’s offered by Motorcars of OC in Southern California for $5,988. Find an Audi A8 for sale

1997 Audi Cabriolet

1997 Audi Cabriolet – $12,999

The Audi Cabriolet was Audi’s convertible, based on its 90 sedan, that was offered through 1998. It’s rare to see an Audi Cabriolet in nice shape today, as these weren’t particularly popular even back then — but this one is truly exceptional, in excellent condition with just 13,000 miles. Of course, it’s also a one-owner car, and it’s in gorgeous shape — and it’s offered by Bridgewater Acura in New Jersey for $12,999. That’s big money for an Audi Cabriolet, but you’ll never find another one like this. Find an Audi Cabriolet for sale

2000 Audi S4

2000 Audi S4 – $14,900

The "B5" Audi S4 is a desirable enthusiast car, largely due to its small size and impressive performance for its time. Reliability is a bit of a challenge, but this car is still a joy to own and drive — if you can find a nice one. This particular example looks to be exactly that, as it’s traveled just 66,000 miles from new. It’s offered by AUTOtech in Miami, and it’s listed for $14,900 — a relatively high number reflecting the increasing values for nice examples of the B5 S4 in good shape. Find an Audi S4 for sale

2001 Audi TT Roadster

2001 Audi TT Roadster – $17,500

The original Audi TT was a design triumph, with truly impressive touches now considered to be massively advanced and impressive. This particular TT is among the more desirable models, as it’s finished in handsome Nimbus Gray, it offers the characteristic "baseball glove" stitched interior, and it’s a 6-speed manual, 225-horsepower version. It’s also traveled just 37,200 miles from new, so wear is limited, and it’s currently offered by a private seller in Dewitt, Michigan, for $17,500. Find an Audi TT for sale
