People of Oversteer, it's time for me to share with you the most anticipated cars in the next six months. Just to be clear, here, I am not referring to the cars that I am most anticipating. If I were, the entire list would be "Mercedes-Benz G-Class" and "Land Rover Defender," repeatedly, until you got bored, which I imagine would happen within a few minutes. Instead, these are the cars that are most anticipated by you people, or at least the cars you should be most anticipating, because they seem tremendously cool. And yes, I know some of these cars are already out, and a few of them have been delivered to customers, but mostly they're juuuuust starting to trickle on to the roads. I haven't seen any of them, and neither have you, and that means we can still anticipate them. OK, time for the list.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is pretty cool, in the sense that it's a high-performance Italian SUV from a company that really knows how to make an exciting sports car. But the base-level version has a mere turbocharged 4-cylinder, with just 280 horsepower. That isn't all that special, but the upcoming Stelvio Quadrifoglio is: It has an unbelievable twin-turbocharged V6 with 505 horsepower, and it'll do zero to 60 in 3.9 seconds, which is monstrously fast. As a high-performance SUV enthusiast, I can't wait to get behind the wheel of one of these.

Dodge Demon

Dodge Demon

OK, this one is obvious: Two years ago, we all thought the Dodge Challenger Hellcat was incredibly scrumptious, but now we've realized that was just the appetizer. The main course is the Dodge Demon, and it's going to be absurdly ridiculous; it's basically a street-legal drag racer manufactured by an automaker, not some guy in his garage in South Jersey, and it's going to have as much as 840 hp. This car is going to be absolutely crazy, and Dodge is absolutely crazy for making it. In a good way. In a very, very good way.

Lexus LS

Lexus LS

I truly can't wait for the latest Lexus LS. Have you seen this thing? The design is cool, but it's more than that: Lexus has focused its efforts on becoming more "cool and exciting" and less "comfortable and stodgy," and the LS is the flagship model in the range -- so it's the one that can deliver the most aggressive blow to the old image. I can't wait to get inside, sit on the undoubtedly comfortable seats, play with the gotta-be-high-quality switches and see what the next generation of Lexus looks like.

McLaren 720S

McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is already on sale, and there are a few of them on the roads, but supercars tend to trickle out slower than everything else -- just because production quantities are so limited. I've only seen one, and I reviewed it; you'll be able to read my review in just a few minutes. The performance is absolutely amazing: A 2.8-second 0-to-60 time, 710 hp, and 220 mile per hour top speed place it into the camp of the very best exotic supercars, even knocking on the door of the latest crop of "ultracars" -- the Porsche 918 Spyder, LaFerrari and McLaren P1. It's huge money, with well-equipped versions available for around $300,000, but it's also the best car in this wildly competitive segment.

Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model 3

Let's be honest: the Tesla Model 3 is the most anticipated car in years. People slept in tents outside Tesla dealerships just to get one -- and not to walk away with one that day, but to give Tesla $1,000 in the hopes that they may someday see their Model 3 within the next two years. This car is an icon and a movement, and it's hard to believe we'll soon be seeing them everywhere. Then the next Tesla will be an icon and a movement, and the next one -- until we all get bored with Tesla and some other ultra-hip automaker comes along.
