As many of you know, I’m currently in the middle of an epic, 6,000-mile, cross-country road trip in my Aston Martin in order to really get the most out of its unlimited-mileage, bumper-to-bumper warranty. But I’m also on this trip for another reason: to attend my fiancee’s family vacation with several of her relatives at a house in Northern California. Needless to say, I’m already eagerly looking forward to the drive back.
I’m especially looking forward to the drive back because I’ll be meeting my readers and viewers! Or at least those who live in Boise, Billings, Minneapolis, Chicago and Cleveland. Although I announced the meet-up spots on Tuesday, when I told you what it was like to drive an Aston Martin through the middle of nowhere, I’m doing it again today just so everyone knows where I’m headed. If you live in one of these cities, I’d love to meet you!
Saturday, September 17: 7:30 p.m. at Julia Davis Park (next to the Rose Garden)
Monday, September 19: 7:30 p.m. at City Brew/Walmart (2425 King Avenue West)
Wednesday, September 21: 2:30 p.m. at FargoDome
Wednesday, September 21: 7 p.m. at Mount Normandale Lake Park, Bloomington (parking lot off Chalet Road)
Thursday, September 22: 7 p.m. at Community Park West, Glenview (parking lot off Zenith Road, with nearby large office parking lot if needed)
Friday, September 23: 7 p.m. at Severance Town Center, Cleveland Heights (near the old movie theater)
Now, one person in Chicago complained that I’m doing the meet-up in the suburbs, which is 20 miles from their house. I chuckled at this. Considering that I am driving, in total, more than 6,000 miles on this trip, I would hope that if you live near these places and have any desire to say hello, you can make it out to see me. I’d love to say hi, and I’d love to talk cars with six cities’ worth of readers and viewers. (More like five cities plus Fargo, amirite?!)
I’ll see you on the road! Find a used Aston Martin V8 Vantage for sale
