Infiniti has officially launched a new program that gives its owners round-the-clock access to a live team of professional assistants. Accessible primarily through mobile phones, Infiniti Personal Assistant provides Infiniti owners with 24-hour assistance on a wide variety of topics ranging from restaurant suggestions to emergency aid.

The program will be complimentary to buyers of any new Infiniti for the first four years of ownership. For a fee, users can also add companion accounts with an additional phone number, or sign up when purchasing a certified pre-owned Infiniti. The automaker says the program is even available for one year to car buyers purchasing a used vehicle of any make from one of its dealers.

“Whether making dining reservations at your favorite restaurant, making an online purchase, or just catching up with the latest sports scores, there are just so many benefits to using the Infiniti Personal Assistant that you'll wonder how you got along without it before,” said Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas.

Indeed, Infiniti Personal Assistant offers answers and assistance for a surprisingly wide range of topics. Owners can use the service to get driving directions, hear movie times and reviews, make travel arrangements and even listen to consumer product reviews and price comparisons. Best of all, Infiniti Personal Assistant is mobile, so drivers don't have to be in their cars to use it. Instead, users can call the system at any time, or access it through online portals, e-mail and even text messages, maximizing its convenience for users on the go.

“The new Infiniti Personal Assistant benefit is a great addition to the Infiniti Total Ownership Experience, providing true anything, anytime, anywhere concierge service with the personal touch of talking to real people, not some computer data site,” added Poore.

According to Infiniti, dealers will begin enrolling customers in the system immediately following a highly successful nine-month test period in four major cities. During testing, Infiniti says the program's most popular features included directory assistance, dining suggestions and driving directions.
