  • Pricing for the new GS 450h unchanged at $59,825
  • Small price increases for 2013 RX models
  • New RX 350 F-Sport is priced from $47,875

Lexus recently announced pricing for several 2013 models ahead of their debut later this spring. The luxury automaker revealed pricing for the all-new 2013 GS 450h sedan as well as base prices for the revised RX SUV, which was recently shown in updated form at the Geneva Auto Show.

The all-new 2013 GS 450h sedan will start at $59,825 including destination when it goes on sale in May. That's the same price as last year's GS 450h, even though the new model is a complete redesign compared to last year's version. In addition to featuring new styling inside and out, the 2013 GS 450h offers the same muscular 339-horsepower hybrid V6 as the previous model, leading to impressive 0-to-60 times of around 5.6 seconds and fuel economy of more than 30 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving.

While the cost of a GS 450h stayed the same, the revised RX receives a slight price increase for the 2013 model year. A base-level RX 350 now starts at $40,185 with destination, which represents an increase of $235 compared to last year's model, while the hybrid RX 450h starts at $46,875 with shipping, for an increase of $675.

While all 2013 RX models feature updated styling that incorporates Lexus's new "spindle" corporate grille in front, the SUV's biggest news for the new model year is the arrival of a sport-themed RX 350 F-Sport version. Lexus says the sporty new SUV starts at $47,875 with destination and includes paddle shifters, firmer sport-tuned suspension, unique new 19-inch alloy wheels and an aggressive new front bumper highlighted by a mesh grille.

In addition to revealing pricing for the RX lineup and the 2013 GS 450h, Lexus also announced that its 2012 IS sport sedan will receive a minor price increase later this spring. According to the automaker, all 2012 IS models built from May forward will receive a $200 price bump, leading to a new base price of $34,470 with destination for the base-level IS 250 and $40,895 for the muscular, 306-horsepower IS 350.

What it means to you: If you're shopping for a 2013 Lexus, expect only slight price increases over last year's models.
