Teachers, coaches, and administrators, take note: no matter what you drive, you have the next couple of months to get a free oil change at your local Mazda dealer.
The automaker says it is has expanded a brief trial program to include most of its dealers. Educators can drop by between now and September 30 for a fresh oil change. The deal applies to “most makes and models,” Mazda said in a press release, so drivers of more obscure models may want to check with a local dealer for coverage first.
Interested educators can schedule their service online for most dealers, and the oil change usually includes a free video inspection narrated by a service tech.
Additionally, Mazda has instructed its dealers to spruce up educators’ cars with an interior and exterior scrub. Select dealers will even collect vehicles directly from educators for the service and then return them. Mazda also said that some dealers would offer free school supplies, which educators typically have to provide themselves since few school districts give teachers more than the basics.
The free service deal comes with no strings attached, though Mazda probably won’t mind if educators wander through showrooms while their cars get an oil change and a clean-up. See Mazda models for sale
