You're looking at the cheapest Ferrari 458 Italia on Autotrader: a 2011 model, finished in silver and offered for sale by Gulf Coast Exotic Auto in Biloxi, Mississippi, for just $134,000 -- a figure that places it squarely in competition with its predecessor, the F430. Why is this 458 so cheap? Simple: because it's covered 60,850 miles.

Normally, it wouldn't be unusual for a 5-year-old vehicle to have 60,850 miles on the odometer. In fact, that's fairly low mileage: The average driver does 12,000 to 15,000 miles a year, which means the average 5-year-old car should have driven somewhere between 60,000 and 75,000 miles. But the Ferrari 458 Italia is hardly the average car.

In fact, a daily-driven 458 Italia, such as this one, is a tremendously uncommon sight -- so rare that it's a major outlier on the bell curve of the used-458 market. That bell curve has two ends. On one side, there are the ultra-recent, ultra-low-mileage 458s that bring a premium. And on the other end, there's this: the one that has more miles than virtually any other 458 on the road.

And yet, this 458 doesn't seem like it's at the end of its life. Modern Ferrari models are built with a lot more precision and durability than earlier ones, and they all seem to hold up better than earlier models, assuming they're maintained appropriately.

Of course, I can't speak to this particular 458's maintenance history, but it looks pretty nice -- if you can get past the odometer reading. Exterior paint looks good, the interior doesn't show any unusual or major wear, and pictures suggest it still retains every bit of the clean look of Ferrari's most impressive modern vehicle. Although a Carfax report isn't provided, the dealership says this 458 has a clean one.

So is this 458 worth $134,900? I have no doubt an F430 buyer with a sense of adventure will snap it up soon.
