These Are the Most Expensive Cars for Sale on Autotrader

It might surprise you to learn that there are currently around 50 vehicles listed for sale on Autotrader for over $1 million. This certainly surprised me — and while there are, of course, a few mistakenly listed vehicles on Autotrader ("$3,600,000" instead of "$36,000.00"), most of these listings are correct and accurate. Today I’m showing you a few of the most expensive cars currently listed for sale on Autotrader.

2014 LaFerrari - $3,700,000

2014 LaFerrari – $3,700,000

The most expensive car currently listed for sale on Autotrader is a 2014 LaFerrari, which is offered as a Ferrari certified pre-owned vehicle by Ferrari of San Diego for $3.7 million. Finished in a classic Ferrari color combination of red with a black leather interior, this LaFerrari has traveled just 1,700 miles from new. Although the original sticker price of this car was probably only a little in excess of $1 million, the current asking price reflects the LaFerrari’s stunning climb in market value.

2014 McLaren P1 - $2,750,000

2014 McLaren P1 – $2,750,000

The most expensive McLaren P1 on Autotrader is offered by McLaren Boston with just 110 miles from new. It’s finished in blue with a black interior, and it’s an excellent, perfectly preserved example of McLaren’s flagship supercar of the mid-2010s. The Carfax report includes a surprising note, saying that the car that originally had this VIN was bought back by McLaren and destroyed, and this example was newly created in 2017 using the same VIN. The result is that it’s never been titled, meaning this is one of the few "new" McLaren P1 models still around — or perhaps even the only one.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder - $1,999,999

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder – $1,999,999

The Porsche 918 Spyder is, obviously, another highly valuable exotic supercar, and this particular example is currently the most expensive listed for sale on Autotrader. It’s offered for sale by Champion Porsche in South Florida, and it includes the desirable Weissach Package, which improved the car’s performance. The owner of this 918 Spyder seems to have taken great care to keep the mileage under 1,000 miles — perhaps to preserve resale value — as it currently stands at 998 miles, and touts an asking price of $1,999,999.

2010 Bugatti Veyron - $1,899,950

2010 Bugatti Veyron – $1,899,950

The Bugatti Veyron is one of the most famously stunning supercars of our time, and this 2010 example is impressive, featuring a gorgeous blue and black exterior with a blue and black interior to match. This Veyron has traveled 6,061 miles, which is surprisingly high for the expensive-to-own Veyron, and it’s currently listed by Prestige Imports in the Miami area for just under $1.9 million.

1992 Ferrari F40 - $1,690,900

1992 Ferrari F40 – $1,690,900

The Ferrari F40 is an iconic supercar, and nice examples are only getting more expensive and desirable, with basically every F40 now worth over $1 million. This particular example is especially desirable, as it’s a sought-after U.S.-specification model from 1992, the final model year, with just 6,600 miles. It’s offered for sale by Motorcars International in Springfield, Missouri, with an asking price of $1,690,900.
