As you probably know, the Porsche 918 Spyder is already off the market following a short production run that lasted for just two model years -- 2014 and 2015 -- and a mere 918 units made, of which about 300 came to the United States. That means you can no longer get a new one -- unless you buy this one.

This is a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder with just 18 miles on the odometer -- merely delivery miles, from when the first owner purchased it new. It's currently listed for sale at Porsche of South Shore on Long Island for a whopping $1.8 million -- massive money, considering its original MSRP probably didn't crest $1 million. But then again, it's probably one of the only "brand-new" 918 Spyders left in existence -- and it's certainly the only one currently for sale on Autotrader.

The Carfax report for this 918 Spyder is rather interesting, and it shows a history of almost hilarious insistence on retaining the car's delivery miles: It was sold new on January 21, 2015, with just 8 miles; it was then serviced on September 25, 2015, with just 9 miles, and it was serviced again on November 10, 2015, with 10 miles. I'm not precisely sure where it picked up the last eight miles, but I can only imagine a crazy joyride with a watchful eye on the odometer.

Right now, it is, of course, the most expensive 918 Spyder on Autotrader -- but it also has the fewest miles. Another one listed for $1.5 million has 1,300 miles, and two more are listed with no price available -- including one with 85 miles. Eighty-five miles?! Pah! That thing is worn out compared to this one.
