The time we have left with our long-term 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is growing short. As I look back over the past year we’ve had it, I’ve come to realize just how versatile and useful this minivan truly is. It’s really set a standard for me when it comes to minivans.
One of the first things I noticed when we got the Pacifica is the dashboard layout. It’s uncluttered, with many controls housed within the Uconnect touchscreen. After driving other Chrysler products, I’ve become a big fan of the Uconnect system. It’s simple and quite easy to use. And speaking of Uconnect, I’m really impressed with the Pacifica’s Uconnect Theater feature. I don’t have children, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the value of this system. With all the available games and educational content it features, those "Are we there yet?" moments will become a thing of the past.
Truth be told, this minivan isn’t so mini. I was able to fit a 70-inch entertainment center in the back without any hassles thanks to the Pacifica’s Stow ‘n Go seating and storage system. Once you get the hang of it, stowing the second row captain’s chairs is quite easy and only takes a couple of minutes. And a simple push-button control takes care of stowing the third-row seat. The Stow ‘n Go feature is also great when you need extra storage space or a place to hide valuable cargo.
In the coming days, I’ll be taking the Pacifica on a road trip home to Mississippi for Christmas. I’m anxious to test out more of its features and see how well the Pacifica behaves on the open road. Find a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica for sale
