7 Reasonably Affordable Exotic Cars on Autotrader

The world of exotic cars used to belong only to a handful of Italian automakers with storied racing pedigrees. A lot has changed in the last couple of decades with more variety in exotic, exciting supercars with thrilling performance, and aesthetics that can’t be ignored. They’re not cheap, but you might be surprised by how affordable some modern exotic cars are getting.

Here are seven reasonably affordable exotic cars for sale right now on Autotrader. We know affordability is relative, but five of them are priced under $60,000, which we think is pretty affordable by exotic car standards.

1. 1995 Acura NSX-T

1995 Acura NSX T Front Left SIde in Blue

The Acura NSX is the Honda supercar that no one asked for, but everyone wants. The example you see here is a 1995 NSX-T which has the removable Targa top. It’s one of the most affordable NSX models on Autotrader for two reasons: It has an automatic transmission and a salvage title. According to the listing, the salvage title is because of a vandalism incident, but it “drives perfect.” Find an Acura NSX for sale

2. 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition

2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition in White

The Alfa Romeo 4C is a car that everyone seems to forget about. It has exotic car credentials thanks to its Italian marque, liberal use of carbon fiber, and stand-out styling. This one is a rare Launch Edition with a distinct body kit and wheels plus special exhaust and suspension. It’s one of only 500 built for North America and you can pick it up for just under $50,000. 3. 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish

2003 Aston Martin Vanquish Front Left Side in Black

The first-generation Aston Martin Vanquish was the British brand’s flagship for most of the 2000s. This one is priced just under $70,000 making it a bargain for a Vanquish. Find an Aston Martin Vanquish for sale

4. 2009 Audi R8

2009 Audi R8 Front Left Side in Black

Early examples of the Audi R8 are starting to get into more affordable territory. The one you see here has the V8 engine — which will likely have lower running costs than the V10 — and the gated manual shifter that everyone loves. This one has a few modifications – like a PES supercharger and a custom stereo – which is part of the reason it’s only about $75,000. Find an Audi R8 for sale

5. 2015 BMW i8

2015 BMW i8 Front Left Side in Black

The BMW i8 is a little controversial among car enthusiasts. That’s because its exotic aesthetic is writing checks its hybrid powertrain can’t quite cash. If you’re not looking for the best track performance and just want a cool-looking car, the i8 still looks futuristic a decade after the original i8 concept debuted. This one is priced under $60,000 and has had lots of recent service. Find a BMW i8 for sale

6. 2006 Cadillac XLR-V

2006 Cadillac XLR Front Right Side in Silver

Yes, we know “exotic Cadillac” is a bit of an oxymoron, but the XLR-V might be the closest thing America’s luxury brand has built to a supercar. There have been faster Cadillac V models, but none of them turn heads like the XLR. This one is on the list because it’s an incredible bargain; a luxury roadster with a supercharged V8 for $32,995. That makes it more affordable than any new Cadillac model. Find a Cadillac XLR for sale

7. 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider

1994 Ferrari 348 Front Left Side in Red

It’s still hard to find modern Ferrari models for under $100,000, but if you go back to the 90s you can find some bargains. This 348 Spider is a modern classic and it’s reasonably affordable at just under $60,000. This one appears to be in great condition and it’s in a classic Ferrari configuration: red paint, tan seats, and a gated manual shifter. Find a Ferrari 348 for sale
