Believe it or not, the Cadillac Escalade was introduced to the world in 1999. It was put on the market to rival its foreign high-end competition, and we have five reasons why the fourth generation Escalade is as strong as ever.

Refreshing Design

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is inspired by modern architecture, among many other ideas from Cadillac's design team. However, it stays true to its signature sophisticated look. The vertical LED lights are Escalade staples, and they go well with the new style.

Smooth Power and Performance

What good are luxury and looks without performance to match? The Cadillac Escalade has a 6.2-liter V8 getting you to 60 miles per hour in around 6 seconds. It's rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. That's impressive for its weight and size, and it can also tow up to 8,300 pounds.

Safe and Sound

Protection and safety were definitely kept in mind at GM when piecing together their top-of-the-line SUV. On Premium and Luxury trims, the lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert and forward-collision warning systems give you extra security on the road.

Fancy Features

Inside and out, the upscale Escalade is feature-rich. Standard are ventilated and heated 8-way power front seats, Cadillac's 8-inch CUE infotainment system, 20-in wheels and a hands-free power liftgate.

Classy Cabin

Inside this elegant Cadillac, you'll find a generous 3-row cabin. With the second and third rows put away, you have an ample 94.2 cu ft. cargo hold. The Escalade is road-trip ready.

Autotrader Says

With a lavish interior, a modern design and an abundance of safety features, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade keeps its foreign rivals on their toes. Time to see what America's top luxury SUV is all about.
