If you’re looking for information on a newer Toyota Land Cruiser, we’ve published an updated review: 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser Review
It’s way too late to quit when you’ve been providing a solid reliable vehicle since the 1950’s. Believe it or not, the Land Cruiser is Toyota’s longest running series, and here are five reasons to experience the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser.
Willing and Able
It was originally designed as an any terrain Jeep-type vehicle, and the current Land Cruiser stays true. The Land Cruiser is a very capable off-roader. It has special off-road features, like the Multi-Terrain Select and Off-Road Turn Assist. There’s even a 5-speed crawl control that provides some assistance when taking on rough road.
The 3-row Land Cruiser has more than sufficient space for cargo. The second row has a 40/20/40 split with a center armrest, and the third row has a 50/50 split that folds into the interior walls. When you fold down all three rows, you have a generous 81.7 cu ft. of cargo space. See the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser models for sale near you
The standard 9-inch touchscreen comes loaded up with all the goods, like Bluetooth and Navigation — and if you’re an iPhone user, Siri Eyes Free. The Land Cruiser also has a powerful JBL 14-speaker system that delivers great sound, and even a rear seat entertainment system that includes two 11.6-in screens.
The one and only trim level for the Land Cruiser comes loaded with premium features. Kicking off the list are heated and ventilated front seats, 4-zone climate control, a moonroof and even adaptive cruise control. Toyota also gives you innovative safety like a surround-view camera and an advanced blind spot monitor.
Moving the large Land Cruiser is a powerful 5.7-liter V8 with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s rated at 381 horsepower with 401 lb-ft of torque. Now, the V8 isn’t the most efficient, but the ride is fairly smooth and the cabin noise is kept to a minimum.
Try searching and you’ll find out how rare it is to find a luxury SUV with this combination of off-road ability, reliability and history. Put your family into the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser and have an adventure.
