If you've seen the 2018 Toyota C-HR, you'll probably agree that this is a vehicle you won't mistake for anything else. It's a fresh new face to the subcompact crossover market. Check out these five reasons this stylish crossover has mass appeal.

Edgy Style

There's no denying the C-HR's unique and edgy design. It starts up front with standard LED daytime running lights. Then it moves on to a rising window line and bold sharp lines from all angles. The C-HR even has a cool aerodynamic rear spoiler and standard vortex-styled 18-inch alloy wheels.

Safety

As far as safety is concerned, there's a lot to list. But we can start with the standard smart adaptive cruise control which uses an intelligent camera in combination with forward-sensing radar technology. You also get a standard pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and standard lane-departure alert that will help steer if you don't react quickly enough.

Features

Some standard features on the C-HR include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rearview camera that displays on the rearview mirror and dual-zone climate control. When you move up to the Premium trim level, you heat the front bucket seats. There are available auto-folding outside mirrors that can be equipped with an available puddle light feature that displays an illuminated "C-HR" logo on the ground beneath the door.

Impressive Interior

So the standard 7-in high resolution screen is ample size for this vehicle. Sitting inside the gauge cluster is a 4.2 multi-information color display screen. If you look closely inside, you'll see the CH-R has a diamond-inspired theme, which is on the panels and other subtle places. Overall high marks for the C-HR's interior.

Fun Drive

The C-HR's sole engine isn't super fast, rated at a decent 144 horsepower. However, through turns and corners, the CH-R delivers a fun driving experience, especially in sport mode. The CVT 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder Dynamic Force engine also returns around 31 miles per gallon on the highway.

Autotrader Says

Looking to stand out from the crowd? Then you'll definitely want to consider the 2018 Toyota C-HR. Take one for a spin and see if it has the right fit for you.
