Did they add more trunk space to the hybrid, or do the batteries still take up the entire trunk?

AutoTrader: The previous Camry Hybrid did have a pretty small trunk, but that’s been improved for 2012.
According to Toyota, the new car has 13.1 cubic feet of cargo space. That’s about 2.5 cubic feet more space than the old Camry Hybrid. Think of it as an extra duffel bag you can pack on a family road trip or weekend getaway. The rear seat also folds down now, revealing a small pass-though space. This makes it easier to haul more stuff or make room for oddly shaped items.
