The Mazda CX-3 has only been around a few years now. The demand is certainly there, so it’ll probably be around for years to come. Here’s a look at the 2018 Mazda CX-3.
The CX-3 has one engine, and that one engine is all about the number 146. It has 146 horsepower as well as 146 lb-ft of torque. The numbers themselves may not seem like much, but the driving experience is fun and one-of-a-kind.
Inside, you can opt for a premium feel with touches like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats and a sunroof. Up front, the 7-inch touchscreen has a rearview camera, a Pandora radio connection and so on. The top Grand Touring trim level has an upgraded 7-speaker Bose Sound System and a head-up display to keep your eyes focused on the road.
The CX-3’s design is definitely something to rave about. All trim levels are outfitted nicely, and this is one of the most attractive subcompact crossovers out there — especially for the price. The Touring trim level comes very well-equipped with stylish 18-in alloys, a spoiler, heated mirrors and dual exhaust outlets.
34 Miles Per Gallon
On the highway, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder returns an impressive 34 miles per gallon. Going for the available All-Wheel Drive only drops that number to 32 mpg on the highway. That could be well worth it, depending on what your driving needs are.
12.4/10.1 Cubic Feet
Behind the 60/40-split rear seats is only 12.4 cu ft. of space. If you opt for the available Bose sound system, that number drops even more to 10.1 cu ft. So compared to, say, the Honda HR-V, which almost doubles that space, it’s a bit limited on cargo space.
Add some fun to your drive — and why not look good while doing it?! It’s time to put the 2018 Mazda CX-3 on your shopping list and enjoy the ride.
