Like every full-size pickup truck, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is available with a variety of cab sizes, bed lengths, engine choices and trim levels. But unlike typical pickup trucks, the trims for the all-new Silverado vary in more than level of equipment; each trim also features distinct styling. In this video, we highlight these 2019 Silverado trim levels.
The base-level trim is the Silverado Work Truck. It features black body cladding and a grille that foregoes the Chevy bow tie in favor of "CHEVROLET" written across the front. This type of front end also appears on the next two trim levels: the Custom and the off-road-oriented Custom Trail Boss. It gets a 2-inch suspension lift, a locking rear differential, skid plates, Rancho shocks and off-road tires.
From there, the bow tie returns on the LT and RST. Although similarly equipped, those two are primarily differentiated by the LT’s chrome exterior trim and the RST’s body-colored trim. The RST also has a black bow tie instead of the LT’s traditional gold.
The LT Trail Boss offers the same off-road upgrades as its Custom sibling, but with a gloss black grille, the black bow tie and extra equipment.
The more luxurious trims are the LTZ (lots of chrome) and the range-topping Silverado High Country that features special lighting elements and bronze accents.
