In <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/2021/toyota/venza" target="_blank">2021</a>, the Venza was updated and reintroduced while giving consumers the option of a <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/hybrid/toyota/venza" target="_blank">hybrid</a> or gasoline version, making <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/car-shopping/all-wheel-drive-do-you-really-need-it" target="_blank">all-wheel-drive (AWD)</a> standard and making the vehicle's platform to be more in line with an SUV/crossover to compete with the Toyota Highlander and Subaru Outback. Our editors love the inclusion of numerous safety features and capabilities such as full-speed range adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beams, and road sign assist but we're disappointed with the Venza's off-roading capabilities even with the aforementioned AWD.
