New lower price.
Excellent example of an unmolested, mostly original 1991 e30 318. I am the third owner, and the car has always been owned by a BMW CCA member. It has never been in an accident and has all original panels with all VIN tags in tact. There has been no paint work aside from minor touch up on the back passenger side door. The cosmoline is still under the hood. The car is nearly mint.
This car has the m42 motor that also appeared in the 318is. The previous owner installed a DINAN chip, which bumps output to around 10hp. The car pulls hard for what it is, and feels as quick as many 325is models I've driven, while being much more balanced (due to the lighter weight motor).
Since purchasing the car last about a year ago, I've gone through it thoroughly and addressed / upgraded many common weak points. Modifications include: new Ground Control street coil over kit with koni struts/shocks and eibach springs with street rates (car is lowered .75F and .5R), UUC EVO3 short shift kit, Condor Shorty shift knob, Renown steering wheel (airbag is deleted), D Force LTW5 wheels with new Nitto NeoGen tires, Stromong m42 exhaust (custom made by the Stromung shop), UUC OEM replacement rotors with Hawk HPS pads, Hella H1/H4 headlight upgrades, badge delete, Blaupunkt head unit with Bluetooth enablement (stereo sound isn't anything to write home about), UUC street transmission mounts, Powerflex front control arm bushings, UUC front sway bar (back sway bar is stock w urethane bushings), upgraded rear shock mounts, new stock strut tops, new OEM black floor mats, IS front lip (installed by previous owner), cooling system replaced (radiator 5k ago, water pump and thermostat 500 miles ago), European analog dash clock, and much more.
A couple of minor/expected flaws: the dash has cracks, typical of most e30s. There are also a couple of minor dings. Overall though, one of the best examples available.
