The Alfa Romeo '8C', Italian for eight cylinders is a truly historic moniker in the Alfa heritage. The name was revived with this special concept that was developed over a period of four years. The project resulted in the production of just 500 '8C Competizione', offered to some of FCA's most loyal and fortunate clients. Our example is one of only 84 produced for the U.S. Market.
Its curvy and gorgeous design evoked that of the Alfas that seduced the entire world in the previous century, and created the myth that we venerate today. The coach-built carbon fiber body and ergonomic interior design, fully projected it in the next millennia. Its Ferrari-Maserati front-mid-mounted 4.7L V8 (tuned to 450 bhp) is naturally aspirated and responsible for what is considered to be the most thrilling modern exhaust note.
