Matt LeBlanc’s Ferrari 360 Modena: For Sale on AutoTrader

  • Matt LeBlanc owned this 360 Modena
  • The Friends star is its only owner
  • The Ferrari has less than 8,000 miles

The exotic Ferrari 360 Modena is already a flashy, exciting sports car. But if you want a more unique experience than even a typical 360 can offer, consider this one, which features an aftermarket exhaust, blacked-out wheels and a celebrity former owner: Friends star Matt LeBlanc. It’s available for sale on at Sports Trend Auto Sales in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

According to John, a salesperson at Sports Trends, LeBlanc purchased the 2000 360 Modena from The Auto Gallery, a Ferrari dealer in Southern California. Immediately after buying the car, the actor chose to modify it, adding black 5-spoke wheels, a mesh Challenge rear grille and a raucous Tubi exhaust–all common upgrades for the 360. The actor has owned the car since, trading it in only recently on a new Ferrari 458 Italia.

“He owned it for 12 years and took great care of it,” said John, who noted LeBlanc often maintained the Ferrari at The Auto Gallery–a fact confirmed by the sports car’s CARFAX report, which shows several services at the dealership. “He traded it for a new one, and I bought it from [The Auto Gallery].”

Despite owning the Ferrari for over a decade, LeBlanc rarely drove it, racking up just over 9,000 miles in nearly 12 years. During one period between October 2006 and October 2008, LeBlanc put only 700 miles on the car — probably a testament to the actor’s busy schedule, even in the wake of Friends‘ departure from NBC’s lineup in 2004. But LeBlanc eventually returned to the driver’s seat of his Ferrari, averaging around 1,000 miles per year since 2008.

Modifications to the car will come as no surprise to LeBlanc’s fans, since the actor recently discussed another of his cars — a highly modified Porsche 911 Turbo — on the popular British TV-show Top Gear. LeBlanc also discussed the Porsche on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and while he never made mention of his Ferrari, John says Sports Trend has several documents proving that LeBlanc was the 360’s sole owner.

With a 400-horsepower V8 and an available F1-style automatic transmission, the 360 ushered in a new era of Ferrari design–marked by smooth curves, not the jagged edges of 1980 and 1990s models–when it went on sale in 1999.

LeBlanc purchased the powerful coupe when Friends was in its seventh season. The show ultimately lasted ten seasons, with LeBlanc playing Joey Tribbiani, a struggling actor and serial womanizer. He reprised the role in a spinoff, dubbed Joey, which aired for two seasons.

What it means to you: Thanks to its history with TV star Matt LeBlanc, this Ferrari 360 Modena is even more unique than its exotic counterparts.

  1. I wonder if he did all the factory warranty fixes for the problems the 2000 year Modena was notorious for….  For any potential Modena buyer, the 99-01 years require a LOT of pre-purchase inspections to ensure you are not buying a money pit.

  2. You are amazing matt Leblanc you are the one who got me into acting and I which you on friends every day I am your biggest fan
