When the Pittsburgh Steelers kick off their 2011 season on August 12, thousands of fans will pour into their favorite sports bars donning a new Steelers jersey or novelty hat to show their support.  We have a better idea:  Why not show your colors by pulling up in a BMW that was once owned by one of the Steelers top players?

For sale right now on AutoTrader is a 2006 BMW 750Li that was once owned by LaMarr Woodley.

Woodley, who is currently recognized as one of the best players in the NFL, is a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He is a Lombardi Award winner, a former Pro Bowler and played a major role in the Steeler's 2009 Super Bowl win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The industry is still buzzing about $10 million contract he signed with the Steelers earlier this year.  According to Albert Winnie who works with Daddy's Auto Sales, Woodley wanted to take advantage of his new influx of money by picking up a new ride.

The car Woodley is leaving behind is something special on its own. The 750Li is BMW's flagship, meaning it comes with all the bells and whistles that the Bavarian car maker could cram into the its 204 inch long body.

According to Winnie, when Woodley dropped the car off at the dealer he had left a memento in the trunk: a Super Bowl XLV cushion that can be seen in the photos on the ad.

Power and speed are two values near and dear to any pro linebacker's heart, so it's no surprise that Woodley picked the 750Li. Under the hood is a powerful V8 engine that can launch the big BMW from 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.

The car has undergone some modifications since Woodley purchased it.  Not pictured in the sales photos are the custom 22-inch wheels that were fitted to the car.  The former All-American linebacker also chose to black out the BMW's headlights and taillights, and outfitted the car with a special Strut chrome accent package.

The dealer is asking $37,999, which is a little low when compared with the car's estimated KBB value, for Woodley's BMW.

On its own, any BMW 750Li is a great way to make your buddies jealous, but with this car's NFL history it 's a sure way to make anyone who bleeds Steelers black and gold turn a little green.
