Although not as long as its sibling, the Chevrolet Suburban, the two share the same platform, engines, and features, with seating available for up to nine passengers. The Tahoe offers three trims, each with 2- or 4-wheel drive. It also provides several custom packages giving the Tahoe a more comprehensive range of features and styling. For an additional $3,000, buyers can upgrade to 4-wheel-drive (4WD) with a 2-speed transfer case. The Tahoe LS 2WD can tow up to 8,600 pounds with the Max Trailer Package. The LS includes 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power side mirrors, roof rails, projector-beam headlights, LED taillights, and active aero grille shutters. Also standard are rain-sensing wipers, black assist steps, a rear wiper/washer, remote keyless entry with remote start, and dark tinted rear privacy glass. The LS features a trailer-hitch platform with a 7-wire harness and a 2-inch trailer hitch receiver. Climbing inside, you’ll find cloth upholstery, front bucket seats with a 10-way power driver’s seat including 2-way power lumbar, a 6-way power passenger seat including power recline and lumbar support, plus 2nd- and 3rd-row split-bench seats. An optional 40/20/40 front bench seat expands seating capacity to nine passengers. A Custom Edition package also deletes the LS’ 3rd-row seat. Standard amenities include power windows with front one-touch up/down, power door locks, tri-zone automatic climate controls, and a leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel with buttons for cruise control, audio, and Bluetooth phone connectivity. The LT has 11 charging locations, including five 12-volt outlets, five USB ports, and a 110-volt power outlet. Also on board is a 4.2-inch color driver information display.

The Tahoe LS has an 8-inch color touch-screen infotainment system with a 6-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo. The infotainment portion includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The Premier rides on 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and features an adaptive magnetic suspension. Also included with the Premier is proximity keyless entry and start, a navigation radio, a power tilt/telescoping heated leather steering wheel, 12-way power heated and ventilated front seats, and perforated leather upholstery. A wireless charging pad, a power-folding 3rd-row seat, and a 10-speaker Bose Centerpoint Surround Sounds system round out the primary standard equipment list. Optional for the Premier is adaptive cruise control with forward braking. The RST 6.2L Performance Packages is unique to the Premier, with a 6.2-liter V8, a 10-speed automatic transmission, performance-oriented adaptive suspension, and active noise cancelation.
