In-cabin storage is decent, with nice door pockets and a sizable bin in the center console. The 2024 Rivian R1S has been recognized for its safety and overall excellence. Additionally, ''Car and Driver'' has praised its high-quality cabin, blistering acceleration, and impressive off-road capabilities. The R1S has an onboard charger providing 115-kW of power. R1S models with the Large battery take around 13 hours to achieve a full charge using a 240-volt (Level 2) station, Rivian says. That equates to between 16 and 25 miles of range gained for each hour of charging. A DC fast charging station can add up to 140 miles of range in around 20 minutes.
