Delivered new to Japan, the car is believed to have remained under long-term ownership there before being imported to Germany in 2021 by the previous seller, from whom it was subsequently acquired. The 328 GTS represents the final evolution of Ferraris transverse mid-engine V8 platform that began with the 308. Combining refined Pininfarina styling with the enlarged 3.2-liter V8, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and a five-speed manual gearbox, the 328 delivered 270 horsepower and a balance of usability and mechanical purity that made it one of the most beloved Ferraris of the 1980s.
