Well-maintained Toyota 4Runner Limited. (3.4L V6) I've driven this 4Runner since 2006. My family knew the original owner. After my parents bought it, my mom drove it for a few years, and then she passed it on to me 20 years ago. It's been a great vehicle. I recently bought a newer SUV with more modern safety features for my wife and young son. - Everything major works - Engine runs great - 4WD works - A/C works... - 419,675 miles (and counting) Some issues: - Small engine oil leak (My mechanic says it's not worth fixing right now.) - Steering wheel pulls a bit to the left. Otherwise it drives just fine. (After taking it to several places, the verdict is that the suspension, with older parts, has some play, causing it to pull to one side a bit. The mechanic said we could go through the expense of replacing the parts but didn't think it was worth it.) Again, other than that, it drives just fine. - Once in a while on the highway, when in overdrive and going up a hill, there is some hesitation when shifting down into a lower gear to get up the hill. My mechanic rode with me and called it an overdrive jutter. He added some additive to help it shift more smoothly. - Clear coat is fading on places. - A few minor dings and some rust - Rear wiper got snatched off in a car wash 10+ years ago. (The motor still works, but no wiper arm.) - In 2015, my wife, as a new driver, pulled into a parking space and hit the gas instead of the brake, hitting a wall. The front bumper and grill were replaced (along with the A/C compressor, I think). Some extras: - Digitized service records since 2006 - Rearview mirror dash cam with backup camera - New tires in December 2024 Major repairs since 2020: - Replaced lower ball joints, radiator, timing belt, water pump, front engine oil seals, shock and strut assembly, master cylinder and brakes booster, AC compressor, valve cover gasket, cam plugs, fuel pump, idler pulley, inner and outer tie rods, all bulbs in instrument cluster and more.
