Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, wood trim, power-adjustable front seats, driver's seat memory settings, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch wheels and power-folding side mirrors. BMW equips every 330e with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio (subscription required), a 10-speaker audio system, multizone automatic climate control, a moonroof and ambient interior lighting. A handful of safety features also come standard, and these include forward automatic emergency braking, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview camera and forward collision warning. The 330e includes all the standard features of the regular 330i but adds a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor (combined 288 hp, 310 lb-ft). The EPA estimates it can drive about 22 miles on a fully charged battery. The 2024 BMW 330e is significantly more fuel-efficient than the standard 330i thanks to its plug-in-hybrid powertrain. The 330e gets 68 to 73 MPG-equivalent in combined city/highway driving in Electric/Hybrid mode, and 26 to 27 mpg combined in Gas/Hybrid mode. Recharging the 12.0-kWh battery takes 11.5 hours using a standard 120-volt household-style power outlet or 3.5 hours using a 240-volt or Level 2 connection.
