2001 Mercury Grand Marquis for sale. If you like the Panther platform, this one is worth a look... I have had this car for just over 2 years and put about 15,000 miles on it. It now has about 147,000 miles and will go up as we drive it. It drives great for a 25 year old grand marquis. It was pretty loose when I bought it. I did extensive suspension and steering work to tighten it up - it is still a Marquis but drives nice, smooth, and predictably imo. I really like it but have other Panthers to work on now. So considering selling it. Things I upgraded or repaired include: New upper and lower control arms, front and rear springs, shocks, rear control arms, watts link, &amp; sway bar New front wheel bearings New brake rotors, calipers, pads All new steering linkages, including the BBB steering gear, steering shafts, and BBB power steering pump. New black steel wheels, Vredestein tires, and black chrome lug nuts. Also replaced the fuel pump. It had an aftermarket single din radio in it when I bought it. That radio can go with it if you prefer it to the large touch screen. The large touch screen radio is hooked up and works well, but does not slide all the way to the back of the opening (I did not want to modify any ducts to make it slide in further and I like the position of the screen). Little to no rust - I undercoated it with an Amsoil product in the midst of the other work. The previous owner replaced the AC system - I haven't run the AC this winter, but it was ice cold last summer and one of our favorite cars to ride in for that reason in the summer.\ Thanks for looking -
