2.2L Engine.  Sturdy little truck. Paint job leaves a fair bit to be desired. We purchased it in June 2024 from the grandson of the prior owner, who had purchased it in March 2011 and kept it in Texas. The grandson gave us the detailed service records that had been kept while the grandfather drove it, shown in photos above. His note from his time of purchase states that the couple in Oklahoma from whom he bought it (who had purchased in 2008) told him that they had the 4.3L engine replaced at 107,500 miles with a 2001 refurbished 2.2L engine that had 70k miles on it, but no indication of what date; there is a receipt for the bedliner dated Nov 2011; there is a note and receipt for painting the exterior; and a note for the radiator being replaced in Sept 2016.  The prior owner's grandson we bought it from said he did not keep any records for the time he drove it.  We put it in the shop after buying it, and had quite a bit of work done - please see attached invoice for that work in 2024.  It has not required any repair work since that time, and has been driven in the neighborhood, usually 2-3 days a week since the repair work was completed.  The shop noted that it would need tires in another 6,000 to 10,000 miles (mileage was then at 169,357; currently 169,639).  The bedliner looks fabulous; the interior is in good condition for the age of the vehicle, but it needs a good detail cleaning inside.  We don't know when the stereo was installed, but it works perfectly and connects to the iphone.
