Consumers can expect a fuel economy of around 27 miles per gallon city and 31 mpg highway which falls in line with the average sub-compact SUV. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine in the C-HR produces a meager 144 horsepower so you shouldn't expect much in terms of off-the-line acceleration.
