"Pacifica" is the Spanish word for tranquil. That’s one way to describe our long-term 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan. It has a smooth ride and is really quiet out on the road. However, I think a better word to describe the Pacifica is "versatile." With all the available seating configurations, it’s great for grocery runs to the local market and grabbing supplies from Home Depot for those projects around the house you’ve been putting off. When we first got it, I went to The Dump and got a 70-inch-long entertainment center I’ve been wanting for my house. Surprisingly, it fit with a little room to spare when the second and third row seats were lowered. Honestly, it’s the most practical minivan we’ve had yet.
It’s really perfect for families on the go. Just put down the third row and a family of four are ready for a trip to the beach. There’s plenty of room for your gear, and with the infotainment system, the kids won’t be constantly asking "Are we there yet?" It’s great for older folks who want a larger vehicle but have problems getting in and out of a large SUV. It’s also a great vehicle for empty nesters who want something they can drive the grandchildren around in when they visit.
The Pacifica takes the "work" out of owning a minivan. The second-row seats are easy to manually fold, and it only takes the press of a button to stow the third-row seats. Another great advantage of the underfloor storage is it provides a hiding place for valuables — I hide my personal laptop and other items in it when I go walking.
Again, I think the word that best describes the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is versatile. Maybe that’s why I’m starting to see more of these on the road. Find a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica for sale
