Buick CPO Program: Video Overview

Buying a used car can be stressful since nobody wants to inherit a previous owner’s problems and headaches. For additional peace of mind, you might want to consider a certified pre-owned car, which comes with a manufacturer-backed warranty and other benefits. We checked out Buick’s CPO program to see what it has to offer.

Before a car qualifies for Buick’s certified pre-owned program, it must meet some very high standards. There’s a thorough check of the vehicle’s history to make sure there’s no damage, for example, along with a 172-point inspection by a qualified GM mechanic. GM also requires the car be no more than 6 model years old and have less than 75,000 miles on it.

As for coverage, Buick boasts two strong warranties, both of which tout no deductible for qualified repairs. One offers 12 months or 12,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper protection, while the other boasts powertrain coverage for 6 years or 100,000 miles from the car’s original sale date. We also like that Buick offers a 3-day or 150-mile exchange program, which allows you to return your certified pre-owned vehicle for another one if you aren’t completely satisfied.

There are also some other perks: Buick’s certified pre-owned program includes 24-hour roadside assistance, a 3-month subscription to SiriusXM radio and a trial subscription to GM’s OnStar service. There’s also a scheduled maintenance plan, which includes two service visits over 2 years or 24,000 miles.

If you’re a little unsure about buying a used car, Buick’s CPO program can help ease your worries and give you a little extra peace of mind. Find a CPO Buick for sale
