Otherwise, very little changed from 2018 to 2019. We like the Corolla for its standard advanced driver aids, ride quality, adult-welcoming rear seat, and solid fuel economy. Toyota separates the Corolla into six grades: L, LE, LE Eco, XLE, SE, and XSE. All but the LE Eco derive their go from a 132-horsepower 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine married to an automatic transmission. According to government estimates, it delivers 28 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 32 mpg in combined driving.
