In its first few years we said the Q3 had "lackluster technology, outdated features, a mediocre interior, a small cabin," an "outdated design," and that it lacked "cutting-edge features." Given the luxury price point, it faced an uphill battle for shoppers and apparently the Audi design team listed and redesigned the Q3 in <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/2019/audi/q3" target="_blank">2019</a> to include a lot more features, improved technology, more passenger and cargo space. Starting with the 2019 Q3, you'll get a much more versatile, powerful, sophisticated and better equipped luxury SUV for your money. All-wheel-drive is standard as well as safety features such as anti-lock disc brakes, stability control, hill descent control and six airbags. You should expect to average a combined 23-26 miles per gallon on fuel economy at the pump. The interior offers a refined, quiet, and comfortable experience perfect for short or long trips. If there has been one complaint about the Q3 since it first came out, it has to be the transmission which we've found to be jumpy and inconsistent when accelerating but if you drive like its a Sunday morning you won't notice it. The second generation of the Q3 was a monumental leap forward and provided shoppers at this price point what they demand in a luxury SUV of this size. But even with these positive improvements, it is hard to imagine shoppers choosing the Q3 over the step-up <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/audi/q5" target="_blank">Audi Q5</a>. Starting with the <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/2021/audi/q3" target="_blank">2021 model year</a>, lane-departure warning became standard on all Q3 variations. The Q3 is offered in the trims of <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/audi/q3/2-0t-premium" target="_blank">2.0T Premium</a>, <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/audi/q3/2-0t-premium-plus" target="_blank">2.0T Premium Plus</a>, and <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/audi/q3/2-0t-prestige" target="_blank">2.0T Prestige</a>.
