How Much Does a 2021 BMW i3 Cost?

The 2021 BMW i3 is compact hatchback design with seating for four. The car comes in two versions, the i3 ($45,445) and more powerful i3s ($48,645). Both can be optioned with the range extender gasoline engine for an extra $3850. For standard equipment, the i3 comes with adaptive LED headlights, dynamic cruise control, automatic climate control and both DC and AC fast-charging capability. Options include 19-inch wheels with run-flat tires, rearview camera, heated front seats and park distance control. The i3s moves to 20-inch wheels and similar options to the i3. All versions can be ordered with a number of special trim packages, called Tega World, Giga World and Mega World. These offer various combinations of features such as leather seat trim, upgraded navigation system and a moonroof. There is also a technology and driving assistant package that included more sophisticated safety aids, including forward collision mitigation and emergency braking.

Is the 2021 BMW i3 a Safe Car?

BMW’s i3 has basic safety features including four-wheel, anti-lock disc brakes, stability control and six airbags. Among the optional safety equipment is adaptive cruise control, a rear view camera and forward collision warning and emergency braking. The i3 has not been crash tested by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). However in tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the i3 gained top "Good" ratings in all aspects, but for rear crash protection which rated as "Acceptable.”
