2024 Infiniti QX55: Choosing the Right Trim

With the 2024 Infiniti QX55, the Japanese luxury brand borrows a page from its European counterparts, creating a radically styled 2-row luxury SUV with a coupe-like silhouette. Intended to challenge rivals like the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, the QX55 lures potential buyers with its pleasing combination of features, price, and performance.

The QX55’s sharply sloping rear roofline makes a statement but also severely limits cargo space behind the second row. If you need something with maximum cargo capacity, the QX50 might be a better choice.

The QX55 offers three trim options: Luxe, Essential, and Sensory. Each offers varying levels of luxury and technology. All are powered by the same 268-horsepower engine, a turbocharged 4-cylinder with variable compression. Power flows to all four wheels via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
